2003 Writing Progress

2004 Goals

• Finish writing, edit and submit Ice (my 2003 NaNo novel).
• Finish writing, edit and submit Legacy of Blood.
• Participate in the Two-Year Novel Program.
• Take BTS classes.
• Participate in all the Dares, and as many Marathons and other Challenges as I'm able (and as fit in with my other goals).
• Continue to do research for DSS.
• Teach two BTS classes.
• Do NaNoWriMo in November.
• If it's done again this year, complete the Marathon 2004, by writing 250,000 words by December 31. And if it's not an official Marathon, then still write 250,000+ words this year.
• More goals TBD - still need to decide what to do with Killing Serenity (rewrite? major edits? scrap it?), and I might (or might not) work on yet more books next year, though that already makes 4 (Ice, LB, the 2-year program novel, the NaNo novel), so we'll see.

1. Silence - Y/A Fantasy novel, written 1983-84, about six teens and a nuclear holocaust
2. Twins of a Different Age - Y/A Fantasy novel, written 1986-87, about twins who were born 700 years apart (magically)
   and find each other through a magic mirror
3. Angel - Y/A novel, written 1987-88, about a teenager and her struggles
4. The Light Force - Fantasy novel, written 1988-89, about three adventurers on a quest to save the universe
5. The Tchakil Queen - Fantasy novel, written 1991-96, about Macrenna, heir to the throne, who runs away because she
   does not want to be Queen, and her struggles against her cousin, who kills her mother and sends the armies after her
6. Hidden Treasure - Historical Romance novel, written 1994-96, set in the Regency, about Emma and Julian and a vengeful
   man who blames Julian for his brother's death and wants him dead
7. Wanderer - Paranormal Romance novel, written 1997, about a Crusader whose wife dies, and how he is made immortal
   and searches for her reincarnation for centuries until he finds her, and the wizard who wants to control them both
8. Pictures - Contemporary Romance novel, written 1998, about a woman who is being stalked and the new man in her life
9. Killing Serenity - Urban Fantasy novel, written 2002-2003
