June 14-30, 2006: Thailand

Wow, what a trip! We spent two weeks in Thailand, first in Bangkok, then driving north to Chiang Mai and stops along the way. A couple days in Mae Hong Son and then a couple days at a resort on Koh Samui to finish off the trip. I put up a slideshow of pictures.

July 31-August 5, 2005: Minnesota and South Dakota

I can finally check South Dakota off my list! We visited all the must-sees: Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Corn Palace in Mitchell. My favorite part was the Mammoth Site, where we saw a real paleontological dig. So cool.

July 3-11, 2005: New Orleans, Louisiana

Mensa AG. Some highlights: touring cemeteries in the middle of a Tropical Storm, and watching anxiously as Hurricane Dennis headed our way... then mercifully swerved. Phew!

April 28-May 1, 2005: Detroit, Michigan

HalloweeM, the Chicago Regional Gathering, that happens at Halloween every year. Loads of fun!

April 24-May 1, 2004: Orlando, Florida

What else? Went to DisneyWorld with my family.

December 11-14, 2003: New Orleans, Louisiana

Attended NORGy, the New Orleans Regional Gathering.

May 2003: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls on tour.

April 2003: Orlando, Florida

DAMA Conference, for work. I did get to lunch with a friend, though, so it wasn't all toil.

April-May 2002: Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, Portofino, Italy, Villefranche, France, and Monaco

I was awarded with a wonderful 5-day cruise by my company. I took my sister on the trip with me, and then after the cruise, we spent an extra week exploring Madrid.
